What inspired Doc’s Toyland?

Often times, while out a show or festival, I found myself being asked the same questions.  Where did you get that?  How did you make that?  Doc’s Toyland was created as a response to those ‘wheres’ and ‘hows’.   It’s a simple and effective way for me to best answer those questions, and also allows me to reach an audience wider than just those I happen to encounter in person.

Is Doc the only one writing articles for this site?

No.  Currently there are two contributors myself, Doc, and my good friend Flowerhorn.  However it is my hope that the number of contributors will increase and that one day this will become a place where a wealth of like minded people go to share their interests and learn about the interests of others.  I would also like to expand the site to include articles/reviews of shows, festivals, musicians, and performers.

Is this site profitable?

No, at least not in the financial sense.  This site has zero sources of income, no ads, referral links, or monetary donations.   We are however happy to accept donations of your time.  Whether it be simply spreading the word about this site, or joining us as a contributor.
